AV service development shouldn’t romanticise quantum leaps

In 2020, the UK-based Transport Research Lab (TRL) launched an autonomous mobility project, ServCity, to explore how autonomous vehicles (AVs) could safely and successfully operate in complex urban environments. The publicly and privately funded venture also seeks to understand how new mobility trends could reshape cities themselves.
